Your images stay in the tab

The converter has no upload endpoint. This page describes the small amount of page-level data that is still involved in serving a website.

Effective 7 November 2026.

Images and GIFs

Images you select are read by your browser and processed on your device. They are decoded with the browser's image APIs, drawn to a canvas, and encoded by a Web Worker served from this domain. No image or GIF data is sent to this site, to Cloudflare, or to any other party.

The converter does not write your files or settings into local storage. Closing the tab discards the in-memory copies.

Analytics

The site uses Umami, a privacy-oriented analytics tool hosted at umami.trapilot.ai. It records page-level events such as the page URL, referrer, browser and operating system, device type, and an approximate country. It may store a local identifier in your browser to distinguish sessions. It does not receive your images, file names, or GIF contents.

The converter sends an optional start event and an optional finish or error event when you use it, with the frame count, output dimensions, file size, palette size, and elapsed time. These events contain no file names and no image data.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard request data such as the requested URL, IP address, user agent, and timestamps in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. That processing is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy terms.

What the site does not do

Your choices

You can block or remove analytics with a browser setting, an extension, or a content blocker. The converter still works because the encoding happens locally. You can also use the site's source and network panel to confirm that a conversion makes no request carrying image data.

Changes

If the hosting, analytics, or data handling changes, this page will be updated and the effective date will change. The current version is the one on this page.
